ABOUT

Nicole Vanden Broeck is a Mexican-French filmmaker born and raised in Mexico. She received the FONCA-CONACYT Scholarship to pursue an MFA in Directing at the AFI Conservatory. She is a BAFTA Newcomer talent. Her directorial work has screened at over 60 film festivals including AFI Fest, Rhode Island IFF, Curtas Vila do Conde IFF, Guanajuato IFF, Women in Film & TV, among others.

Prior to her move to Los Angeles, Nicole co-founded the production company 6pm Films where she directed narrative, documentary and commercial projects. She has directed branded content for Adidas, Duracell, Proplan, Spotify, Nestlé, etc. She is currently teaching at the Universidad Iberoamericana and developing her narrative feature script debut with the support of Cine Qua Non Lab.
